Who We Are

We are nonsectarian and nondenominational. We are affiliated with a great and rapidly growing international movement, the Church of God, with headquarters in Anderson, Indiana.

We are evangelical in faith and we hold to the fundamental tenets of the Christian Faith…

We are autonomous. Although associated with the international movement of the Church of God, the governing of this church rests with the pastor, elders, and deacons under the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit.

We are here to minister to you. If you need prayer, encouragement, or any other service we may be able to render in Christ’s name, please call upon us.

World Wide Movement

Church of God Around the World

Since 1881, the Church of God reformation movement began to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the world beyond the United States and Canada. The movement’s first missionary entered Mexico in 1891.

Since those early days, the Church of God has grown into a multinational community of faith that is carrying the gospel to nearly ninety countries around the globe. Our worldwide family now consists of more than 896,306 believers and nearly 7,916 churches.

We Believe . . . . .

The bible to be the inspired Word of God and Divinely Authoritative.

(2 Timothy 1:13, 3:6; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105-106, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5)

We believe in the Trinity. God exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These Three are one God.

(Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30)

We believe God to be the absolute and sole creator of the Universe.

(Genesis 1:1, 26-27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

We believe that God so loved His creation, mankind, that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, into the world to save and redeem all mankind to eternal life.

(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a, 59:1-2; Romans 3:23;)

We believe that Jesus Christ was both God and man; that he was born of a virgin and lived a sinless life in which He taught and brought mighty works and wonders exactly as revealed in the four Gospels: that He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins and was raised bodily from the dead on the third day. He later ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and interceding for believers. Then one day He will return to claim His bride the church.

(Matthew 1:22-23; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14-15; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 1:3-4; Acts 1:9-11;

1 Timothy 6:14-15; Titus 2:13)

We believe that all who receive Christ become joint heirs with Him. The goal of every Christian should be to increase in the knowledge and spiritual maturity in obedience to God’s Word and His indwelling Spirit.

(Romans 6:23, 8:17-18; Ephesians 2:8-10; John 14:6; Galatians 3:26; Titus 3:5; Romans 5:1-2)

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within all believers. He continues to fill the believers in response to their commitment and willingness to yield to His Holy will.

(2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13, 5:18; Galatians 5:25)
